Athletes use noni in a number of situations. This page provides links to articles that allow spoprts people to speak for themselves about its impact on recovery from injury and work outs and enhanced performance. Q: What has noni juice got to offer athletes and sports people?A: Quite a lot! Perhaps it’s not surprising that noni - the plant that the Polynesian islanders used to power their long sea journeys - has a great reputation with sports people. Today, athletes use noni in similar ways. Noni has a role to play in decreasing recovery time; in promoting rapid healing after injury and in developing lean muscle mass. TAHITIAN NONI Juice™ (that is, the product developed by Tahitian Noni International™) has also passed stringent quality control checks of the Morinda Corporation™ AND it has passed an athletic banned substance screening programme (see the link below to TNI™ press release). This page is a gateway to a series of articles on noni for athletes and sportspeople. I provide a brief introduction to the topics here – if they interest you, use the links to go to more detailed information about how athletes use noni. If you’re familiar with this information in general, I’ve prepared a page specifically looking at oxidative stress for sports men and women. You might be interested to know that a lot of the research on major antioxidants (vitamins A, C and E) found no evidence that they improved performance and little to suggest they decrease oxidative damage. And boosting antioxidants at the wrong time can inhibit the action of your natural defences. Read more here. Muscle buildingI include a story about one young body builder’s experience of using TAHITIAN NONI Juice™ … Mike Semanoff was interviewed by David Young of Iron Man Magazine in October 2006 because he achieved twenty pounds gain in lean muscle mass in two months.
